Many of you already know this, but in case you missed the news, Wild Planet Creations has been putting aside 10% of all sales from January - May, 2022 to donate to the Rainforest Trust!
We chose the Rainforest Trust for many reasons (which I've outlined in an earlier blog post), but the main reason is that 100% of all donations they receive goes directly towards the projects they are working on globally! Their primary focus is to purchase and maintain key ecosystems of the Amazonian Rainforest in South America, which really helps with protecting endangered species, safeguarding rare plants and other chemicals that contribute to our medicine production, ensuring native tribes are legally protected from external corporations with a shady agenda, and lowering the amount of carbon that is released into the atmosphere. What an incredible organization, right?!
After quite a successful first 5 months of the year, we are proud to announce that we are donating $350.00 to the Rainforest Trust! As Wild Planet Creations grows, we know that our contributions to wildlife conservation through donations will only grow with it!
