"Plastic Peril" Green Sea Turtle Watercolor Painting Limited Edition Fine Art Print

This archival, giclee, fine art print is of an original watercolor painting depicting a green sea turtle consuming it's frequent meal of choice, jellyfish. However, a dangerous imposter, a plastic bag, looming nearby looks nearly identical to the jellyfish among it, and could have been just as easily selected by the sea turtle as a meal. For this reason, I decided to name this painting, "Plastic Peril", and it serves as a reminder that we can make a difference even with the tiniest decisions!

This painting is one of many that were created for a children's book titled "I Can Save the Planet" for the non-profit organization, Raptor Center of Tampa Bay. The book is set to release in 2025! Stay tuned! Also, 10% of each print sale will go directly to the Raptor Center to aid in the thousands of birds and animals they help rescue and rehabilitate each year.

All prints are made with high-quality watercolor paper, and are printed with archival inks to be long-lasting and resistant to fading. Each print will also be hand numbered based on purchase order, and signed by the artist.

The original painting is 18"x20". Therefore, prints are sized accordingly.

Packaging and Shipping:

- Prints are shipped flat in a rigid mailer, carefully packaged in a compostable plastic sleeve
